Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Ok as far as pizza goes, let me start with this little story. I made fun of a Co worker today because he likes 7-11s pizza. If I had to choose the large for $5 at 7-11 or the 12" for $16 here... I'd choose 7-11 every time. I only bring up the 7-11 pizza because they taste the same! Waiters suggestion : Italiano = terrible! For the second star I note that this is a very clean and quiet place. The bar stools are uncomfortable though. Only because I'm in town for work and at the hotel next door I MIGHT go back some day and try something besides pizza. A friend told me the rib eye and shrimp scampi weren't bad Let's hope so First yelp :-)

Have no idea why such low rating. I found the service excellent, the menu complete , and the food very good. I had the salad with the house dressing and it was awesome. I also had a personal pepperoni pizza and it also was great.

This is an ok place, which is unfortunate cause I really wanted to like it. The ambiance is good and the service excellent but the pizza I ate was entirely reminiscent of digiornos frozen pizza you get at the store It's good just not 20 bucks good. Prices were also a little more than one would expect to pay for slightly better than average pizza.

My Family had a little "reunion" last night at this restaurant and there were at least 15 of us. When we arrived at the restaurant it was clean and done up fancy with linen napkins and the decor wasn't too bad, but the first red flag was that it was 6pm, dinner time and it was a ghost town. My family and I sat down and there were only 4 or 5 menus given to us so we had to take turns looking over the menu. fine, whatever. Just slightly peeved. Then as I was socializing with family 20 minutes had passed and no one at the table had drinks. My cousin even went out to her car and brought in her own water because the waiter didn't seem to bother with us even though we were the only table in there. when I got the menu I looked it over and it claimed to be some Italian restaurant with some different name that was on the front of the building. The menu was laughable! First there were misspellings, Everything on the menu seemed to be 12 or more dollars. and most entrees were 20 or more dollars a plate (I literally laughed out loud and commented on how ridiculous the prices were), nothing sounded like it was good to eat. Some of my family was very hungry so as soon as we waved over the waiter (everyone at the table was waving their arms) so they ordered appetizers and they still didn't take drink orders for half of us. It took half an hour for the appetizers to come out. my cousin ordered the "beer barttered Calamari" which was 12 dollars. He was expecting a good size of calamari that he could share with some of us. instead of the standard portion that most restaurants serve of calamari he literally received 6 pieces. It looked tasty and my cousin said it wasn't too bad, but holy F*** I know it was an appetizers but this was no fancy french small plate restaurant. after we got our drinks and appetizers it was at least another 20 mins before the waiter even came back to fill our drinks or take our order. most of my family ordered burgers at an Italian restaurant....burgers, let that just sink in for a moment. Americans Love burgers but: 1. this place claims to be pizzeria 2. The menu is mainly Italian food (Pizza is not italian by the way, its american). 3. if your burgers are going to cost more than the burgers at lucky 13 they better be damn good Everything came out looked fine and when it came out of the kitchen and smelled pretty good too but the taste was far from even sub-par. My cousins wife ordered her burger without tomatoes and bacon, but the bacon and tomatoes was still on there. the bacon was still almost that translucent beige color that raw bacon has. Her burger was supposed to be Kobe Beef and she said the meat was very tough but because she was pretty hungry she ate it anyway. We joked about how wendys would have probably been better and made some jokes about how the restaurant needed gordon ramseys attention. Now, About what I ordered. I got mushroom soup since everything was so overwhelmingly over priced I got the cheapest thing on the menu and this little cup of soup was still 6 dollars! I mean I would expect maybe a little more than a cup of soup for 6 dollars. maybe a small bowl. since it took the table a long time to get our food I jokingly apologized to the family about my soup holding up everyone's food. everyone was served before I was and I thought I might have been one of the first people served because it was JUST soup that was probably pre made. when I received my soup it looked good. had little croutons and some Parmesan cheese on it, but there was no spoon. I had to ask the chef for a spoon because it wasn't served with one and there weren't any spoons at the table. The chef frantacally ran around the restaurant to find a spoon and almost 5 minutes later I got a spoon. who knew that a spoon in a restaurant cool be so difficult to find. I took one bite and handed it back to the chef before they left the table and told him it was too salty. This soup had so much salt in it, it tasted like metal and you couldn't even taste the mushrooms. he took it back and I waited while everyone finished their meals. almost everyone was done before I got my soup. the chef doubled the portion, said he watered it down by adding water and more cream and he said the bread was unlimited. I took a bite of this new soup and the outside of the bowl was two watery while the middle of the bowl was two salty still. how could this be? I lost my appetite and my aunt even offered me some of her pizza. I have already made up my mind that this restaurant has no business being in business. I enjoyed spending time with family but the service was terrible and the food was even worse. we were there for 3 1/2 hrs I ended up refusing to pay for my soup. I will never be going back and I will warn everyone I know about this horrible establishment

The pizza was like pita bread and cheese. No sauce. Pizza was horrible and expensive.$16.92 for a small pizza with one topping and a coke. I regret not going someplace else for dinner. I will not go to this place again. Anything, and I mean anything is better than Polar Bear Pizzeria.

Wow...one of the worst meals ever. We were told they have corn dogs for kids meal but waitress couldn't understand our request after multiple attempts. My daughter said she was full after just a bite. It was out of freezer and tasted like it had been there for a long time. The pizza was something just out of the freezer or off the truck. We ordered two but apparently didn't write it down. I'm only noting this to spare the next family the time and money. The people were very friendly though.

Excellent pizza. Had the pesto pollo and the crust was crispy and flaky, good quality chicken, wonderful mozzarella. I would definitely come back.

Cold food, and hey where the hell is my beer, I asked for it five minutes ago, and still waiting. It finally got here, but its not like its busy with three people. Plus side was that I got carded.. And I'm 43, that hasn't happened in a few years

This place is clean. I do not think it will stay in business for long. The pizza tastes like it is right out of a box. My daughter's corndog was stale...or at least it tasted funny and "stale" is the word we settled on. The positive, the sodas tasted normal! Find a Roundtable. (Are there Roundtables in Utah?) The negative? $60 for a freezer meal is too much!

Stumbled upon this delightful place next to my hotel. The atmosphere, service and burger were great!! I'll be back tomorrow to try the lasagna. There is NO reason there shouldn't be wait to eat here.

The food is amazing and the owners and staff were very accomidating. For what you get the $ pricing is spot on! I'm a fan of the house burger the pizzas. I can't imagine, given the quality of food I've enjoyed 3 times in the week I have been staying at a nearby hotel, that I could be dissapointed by anything they offer. Worth trying, worth coming back!

I'm having a hard time understanding the wide variations in ratings for this place. I stopped in with a business associate last night and found the place to be warm, clean, recently renovated, with a friendly staff who seated us immediately. Our table was set with linen napkins which I thought was a nice touch. We were looking for something light so we shared a Hawaiian pizza. It was fresh, hot, and tasty. So what else would you expect for a pizza? Then I felt like dessert so ordered the strawberry cheesecake. This too was nicely presented with a splash of strawberry sauce and whipped cream. All in all it was an enjoyable experience. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't spectacular, but I would certainly recommend it and will visit again when my travels bring me to Salt Lake City.

Tried out the lunch special. The sausage looked like hamburger meat but was very tasty. Didn't love the oranges and apples mixed in with the salad, but at least the dressing was on the side. Seemed a bit pricy for pizza but they did provide a decent amount of food. There was only one waiter but since it was slow service was good

Charming little pizza pub near the airport. Happened to be next to my hotel. Its relatively new and needs to have those who have visited spread the word. Excellent wood oven pizzas with a large variety of toppings. Decent sized menu! Very nice and clean dinning room. I enjoyed the Italian Pizza which was heavy with toppings and very tasty. Pizzas are a little pricey, but the 14" is two meals worth! Its nice to be able to get a good wood fired pizza without having to fight the traffic downtown! Highly recommended!

Kind of feel bad for this place. It was empty at dinnertime, which was a bad sign. My pizza took a pretty long time. Got the Hawaiian and the cheese reminded me of Lunchables pizza. It was edible and tasted ok, but I'd take a frozen pizza over what they served me.

I was staying at the hotel across the street and this local pizza joint was recommended by the front desk staff. I decided to order a large pepperoni and sausage pizza to split with my mother. After spending $16 and getting back to the room, I realized that they gave me a 12" pepperoni pizza. I was told that the 12" was indeed their large and they simply forgot the sausage. We split the pizza and both enjoyed it. To my surprise, the pizza was still really good. I would love to eat here again but would never do so because of the outrageous prices.

While I agree with other reviewers that the ambiance of this restaurant was nice, my experience was on the whole not favorable at all. Yes, the server was friendly, maybe too friendly. He touched my back with his hand two or three times, and maybe some people like that, but I didn't appreciate it much. More importantly, the pizza I had was terrible, frankly. It was a 12" meat-topped "Carni" pizza, with pepperoni, sausage, bacon, Canadian bacon, and maybe something else I'm forgetting. My sister, who was with me, thought the meat tasted "old" to her, and while I didn't detect such a thing myself, I thought the sausage was extremely bland, similar to what those $1 freezer case Totino's party pizzas use. The bacon was extremely salty, on the other hand. And the meat was the best part of the pizza, because the crust, while allegedly fire baked, had all the texture of a frozen pizza, not the cheap $1 kind, but the next tier up, like a $3 Tony's pizza. This pizza, however, cost $16, plus tax and tip. On the other hand, and to be fair, the Coke was quite good. I think this place only stays in business because most of its customers are nearby hotel guests, just passing through, not repeat business. At least I won't be making a return visit.

Staying across the street and in the mood for pizza. Good atmosphere. A big group came in just before me and service was slow to start. Five or more minutes to get a menu, longer to get a glass of water. Fair adult beverage selection. Had the chicken alfredo pizza. Not much flavor and expensive for what it was. Don't think I'll be back.

Wow...hard to describe this train wreck. Extra points for consistency; everything was poorly executed. Wrong order, cold food, flat beer, and the check had prices higher than the menu.
